Code words for “I noticed you’re losing weight”

It happened twice today. People noticed my new haircut, and asked about it. But it’s not new. I haven’t had my hair cut in over 8 months. I’m not even styling it differently.
One comment: “You’re looking very fresh,” on a day in which I had not washed my hair at all. (Give the poor guy a break - English is not his native language, it’s Japanese)
My guess is that they’re at least subconsciously noticing the weight loss, but aren’t quite sure, so they start with a comment about the hair, and see where it leads. Probably they won’t talk about actual size changes until it’s patently obvious.
My positives:
- I began to annoy DH with a “too-positive” outlook on everything. Heehee
- I got really tired and sluggish in the afternoon, but took care of myself and rested when I got home
- There are now two anchors to help me change my emotional state: snapping my fingers motivates me to take action, and rubbing my left wrist reminds me of a highly excited, enthusiastic state.
- DH was surprised when he noticed the dishes had been done, which I’d accomplished this morning by an attitude of “I want it to be done, so I’ll just do it.”
- I resolved one of my pet peeves by taking out some recyclables.
