I’ve been practicing intuitive eating, have learned from the best, including Geneen Roth, Overcoming Overeating, and others. Now I’m focused on losing weight down to my normal range. Almost 50 pounds lost so far. In recovering from my Binge Eating Disorder (BED), I’ve learned that it’s more important what you put into your head than what you put into your mouth.

I am just starting down the pathway to recognizing my eating patterns and getting them under control. My greatest disappointment was the Geneen Roth Retreat that I just attended. I learned nothing from it and felt it was a complete waste of my time. Any other suggestions?
I’m trying so hard with ntuitive eating myself. Having a few difficulties lately though - have a look

any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Please tell me what you didn’t like about the Geneen Roth retreat. I’m thinking about going to the May retreat but can’t find out a lot about the format or anything else. It comes highly recommended by a trusted person. Your insight will be appreciated.
Hi Dianne,
I don’t have anything I don’t like about Geneen Roth and the retreat. It literally changed my life and started my down the path of intuitive eating.
No author is perfect, but if Geneen’s work speaks to you, it’w worth going. The retreat was the first major act of self-care I ever did for myself. My retreat was literallly years ago, so I’m sure it’s changed since then, but I’ll put up a blog post so you can read everything I can remember.
thanks for the blog, kinship found…
